Deloitte's International Assignment Services (IAS) practice in London provides practical and creative solutions to the challenges clients face in managing their assignee populations. The team works closely with an enviable international client list, providing a wide range of consulting and compliance services.

Working closely with colleagues from other tax disciplines in the business, the work is varied and challenging and will offer the opportunity to develop excellent advisory experience.
We currently have a vacancy within our Global Compensation Management team for an Assistant Manager to assist in the management of our client portfolio. The role involves the co-ordination and delivery international payroll services to clients with international assignee populations all over the world.
General Engagement Specifications
l Preparation and co-ordination of payrolls in the UK and/or multiple locations
l Management of all parts of the payroll process which may include payroll instructions, statutory withholding calculations, the funding process and the delivery of payments to assignees and the local authorities
l Liaising with clients HR, internal payroll and outsourced payroll teams
l Managing Deloitte's local payroll service teams
Requirements of the role:
l Manipulation of data for processing
l Uploading client payroll instructions to our global co-ordination database
l Distributing payroll instructions to the local payroll teams for processing
l Upload, review and reconciliation of local payroll output files
l Management of the funding process from the client to the local payroll teams
l Liaison with overseas offices to resolve queries and communicate these to the clients
l Tax calculations for Modified PAYE/NIC arrangements
The role would suit a recent graduate, ideally with some experience working in a Payroll / Finance / Accounting environment, who is looking for an opportunity to learn and develop in a professional services organisation. The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
