Our client is looking for a Associate Director of Income Tax Accounting for the EAME region based at there Brussels office.
As the Associate Director of Income Tax Accounting you will have full responsibility for the US GAAP tax accounting work for the groups EAME subsidiaries.
Some of the key areas of responsibilities include:
-Review all divisional inputs for US GAAP tax accounting for the groups EAME subsidiaries;
-Act as a liaison between Corporate Tax/Corporate Accounting and the EAME division with respect to US GAAP Tax accounting work;
-Provide training and support to Director of Finance/Controllers for completion of US GAAP tax accounting informational requests;
-Provide assistance to Corporate Tax/Corporate Accounting with respect to Quarterly and Annual tax provision and estimate of effective tax rate;
-Work closely with EAME Tax to understand impact of tax planning initiatives, tax audits on the US GAAP tax accounting/provision/effective tax rate.
To be considered for this role you must have excellent knowledge and working experience of US GAAP tax accounting and reporting either within the Big 4 or industry. You will also have the relevant academic qualifications, be fluent in English (both written and verbal) and be prepared to travel.
