This Leeds based independent firm is looking for an ACA/ICAS/CTA qualified corporate tax specialist to play a major role in the growth of the team. Whilst the majority of your work will be corporate tax based this role will provide you with the opportunity to become an all round business adviser.
Your role will be varied and will include dealing with corporate and a small amount of partnership tax issues (partnership tax experience is not a prerequisite and you will receive training in this area). Your compliance portfolio will consist predominantly of OMB's including a few household names and you will be responsible for the corporation tax compliance work which includes drafting the tax computations and returns, managing the relationship with the client and HMRC, calculating tax liabilities and dealing with any HMRC enquiries. You will also work on ad hoc tax planning projects which will include group restructuring work, capital allowances planning, reward and incentivisation advice and shareholder planning.
You should have a minimum of 3 years' corporate tax experience. You should also have excellent communication skills and be keen to contribute to the growth of the department at an exciting stage in it's development.
