Reach International is working with this Global Accountancy firm to appoint a Manager or Senior Manager to its dedicated Customs and International trade practice in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Failure to account for Indirect Taxes can have a significant impact on business costs and cash flows and in all cases this firm's focus is to minimise the exposure to indirect tax whilst ensuring compliance with the indirect tax regimes.
They specialise in advising clients on the impact that customs duty can have on transactions. Their dedicated team has a wealth of experience in dealing with a broad range of industries, from local businesses to multinational companies. They have an excellent network of specialists throughout Asia and can provide expert advice on transactions around the world.
The Role
Reporting into a Director, you will manage a team of dedicated trade customs and international trade specialists, providing advice to local, regional and global clients across all sectors, on customs and trade compliance issues.
The Candidate
* At least 5+ years solid, practical, experience in customs and trade consulting work
* A practice, customs, legal or industry background in customs and trade compliance
* A Manager looking for the opportunity to progress or an existing Senior Manager
* Asian experience an advantage but not essential
