An opportunity has arisen at my client's Head Office for a newly created role, Global Head of Tax Reporting. This multi billion dollar business is looking to expand its tax function through the creation of a new specialist role.
The foundations to this role are in the reporting and monitoring of the all of the group's units tax charge. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of IFRS and corporate taxation with strong experience in dealing with SOX404 matters. This is an essential part of as you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of all documentation relating to SOX404 reporting. Other aspects of the role include, managing the transfer price target setting process and being the point of contact for external auditors in relation to all corporate income taxes.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a professional accountancy qualification and/or a university degree in finance/business administration. Strong and proven experience of IFRS, corporate taxation and a sound understanding of the differences between IFRS and tax returns. Several years experience in (tax) reporting, and reporting systems will also be highly advantageous.
