This powerhouse now looks to expand its Head Office tax function by bringing on-board a tax reporting specialist.
The role will entail:
-Reporting, monitoring and analysis of the group tax charge with a special focus on units
- Support the units in any tax reporting related issues
- Train and coach finance and accounting staff on tax reporting
- Support the financial reporting team in any tax related area
- Preparation and analysis of SOX 404 documentation related to tax reporting
- Support the units in ensuring SOX 404 compliance on taxes, and ensure SOX 404 compliance on a Group level related to taxes.
- Act as contact to external auditors for any questions related to corporate income taxes.
- Ensure and enable a high quality transfer price target setting process.
The client requires:
-ACCA or comparable qualification and/or university degree in finance/business administration
- Fluent English
- Sound analytical skills
- Strong networking skills
- Deep understanding of IFRS, corporate taxation and sound general understanding of the differences between IFRS and tax returns
- Several years experience in (tax) reporting, and reporting systems preferably in a complex, global environment
