Reach International is currently working with this Global Accountancy firm based in China to appoint Managers and Senior Managers into its Indirect Tax team in either Shangahi or Beijing, focusing on GST / VAT and Customs and international Trade.
With over 8,000 staff in 12 offices across China this firm is well established in this emerging and dynamic market.
The Role
Reporting directly to a Partner, your role will be predominantly business development, winning and bringing the business to the table through relevant internal and external contacts and networking opportunities. You will also be responsible for client delivery, both yourself and through your staff.
Proactive, focused and with a strong marketing ability, you must be a self starter capable of working independently whilst being part of a team and generating results.
The Candidate
* A background in GST / VAT and/or Customs and International Trade
* Currently at least at Manager level within a practice, consulting, legal, customs or inhouse environment
* Committed to at least a 2-3 year term in China
* Current or previous experience in the China market highly regarded
* Fluency in Mandarin desirable but not essential
