A large Energy company based in West London is looking to increase headcount with the hire of an Indirect Tax Advisor. You will report into the Head of Indirect Tax and work as part of a team to provide pro-active and commercial focused tax advice to the business and local tax teams.
You will play a key role in the identification, design and implementation of tax planning, advisory and compliance opportunities for the UK and international businesses across a range of businesses in the pursuit of protection and creation of value. You will provide timely advice on new and existing business activities, manage risk and seek continuous improvement. The role will require the advisor to focus on Indirect Tax as a specialism in order to be a key contributor in the team
The role will require someone who has Indirect Tax as a specialism. You will be ACA/ATII/CTA qualification or equivalent. You must be able to operate independently and work as part of a multi disciplinary team, coupled with the ability to build and maintain networks within and outside tax. You will have a good working knowledge of the technical aspects of indirect tax as well as an awareness of other disciplines. This role would suit either someone coming straight out of one of the practice firms or someone who is currently in industry looking to further their career with a FTSE 100 global organization.
