This is a newly-created role to work for a FTSE 50 business and be part of a senior team of tax professionals who provide pro-active and commercially focused VAT advice to the business.
You will play an integral part in the identification, design & implementation of global VAT planning & advisory opportunities, so proven experience of working in a strategic, high-value project environment is essential.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified with a professional qualification, probably working as a Senior Manager in a ‘Big 4’ firm or major multinational corporation.
As risk management, tax innovation & process improvement are fundamental aspects of this role you will be required to engage effectively with the wider business through stakeholder management, so knowledge of working with a large & complex organisation will be particularly beneficial.
