This international accountancy firm is looking for an ACA/ICAS/CTA qualified senior manager to advise a broad range of private business and private equity clients. The focus of the work will be tax advisory and will cover a wide range of issues related to both the corporate entity and its owners. This will include structuring, transactional tax issues and general tax planning.
Working directly with the firm’s tax directors and partners you will provide tax advice to your portfolio of clients. Your key responsibilities will include the following:
-The management of a portfolio of private business and private equity clients
-Undertaking tax advisory work in respect of issues relating to privately owner managed and private equity businesses. This will cover all of the main taxes including corporation tax, income tax, employee taxes, capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
- Dealing with transactional tax issues.
- Identifying and winning work from clients and targets
- Helping the partner/director team to continue to grow the practice
- Undertaking both people and project management
In addition to a strong corporation tax background you should have experience of advising on a variety of taxes and an awareness of succession and IHT planning and the operation of share schemes and managed incentivisation. You should also have good commercial knowledge and the ability to communicate with clients on a variety of issues.
