We are looking to appoint our future leaders? people with an outstanding track record in building a business and delivering results? people who have the vision and foresight to take their career to the next level and be part of a winning team.Recent growth of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Tax practice has created an immediate need for a high performing Senior Associate to join our US Tax team, and embrace a challenging career in a progressive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate in US Tax, you will:- Corporate, federal and state income tax compliance;- Tax provision preparation;- Tax research at the federal and state level;- Review tax assessments;- Interact with agencies and other offices to gather information and manage enquiries;- Develop industry specific knowledge;- Assist with drafting correspondence to tax authorities; and- Assist with the calculation and/or review of tax provisions for financial statements.Competencies Required- Strong technical tax background;- Tax research experience in US domestic tax issues- Good analytical skills;- CA or CPA designation; - Undergraduate degree majoring in Accounting;- MS in Taxation, JD, LL.M in Taxation- Willingness to enroll in the CICA In-Depth Tax Course will be a future requirement of the role; - 1 to 2 years experience in US Tax Services in a professional services environment would be preferred; - Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments; and- Strong interpersonal skills.
