Role
Our Client who has a Global Tax team of 42 is seeking an International Tax Manager to join their European operations. You will be reporting to the European Tax Director based in Zurich, Switzerland. The position will be focused on Tax Compliance, Tax Audit and Tax Planning.
Responsibilities will include:
路 Regular contact with international tax and accounting personnel located locally, in the US or in the region.
路 Prepare analyses and develops and presents arguments to defend company tax position on difficult tax audit issues.
路 Conduct reviews of various foreign tax returns and reporting requirements with emphasis on complex tax returns.
路 Provide tax and tax accounting support to international locations, including tax audit defense coordination and tax planning.
路 Conduct tax research and analysis on complex projects as assigned to assess the effect of the tax law on company's operations and recommend appropriate course of action.
路 Coordinate transfer pricing documentation for multiple countries
路 Identify and implement tax saving projects.
Ideal Candidate
6 - 9 years experience in-house or within a Big 4 or law firm environment
路 Strength in financial analysis and tax accounting (US GAAP, Fin 48, FAS 109)
路 Familiarity with the relationship between tax laws, accounting rules and business operation
路 Solid experience with tax audits
路 Good communicator
路 Team Player
路 Excellent relationship-builder
路 Strong decision making abilitiies
路 Willingness to travel 10-12%
