Our client is a large international company, they seek a senior manager to join an in-house team. In this corporate tax role you will deal with a mix of UK and international tax. Would suit either a Big 4 trained senior manager or someone in industry. Really great place to work and great variety of work. You will need large group experence an understanding of tax reporting and a sound technical background, its likely that you will be CA, ACA or CTA qualified (ideal would be an accounting qualification combined with CTA). This role involves:
• To act as a primary contact for the Group’s businesses for direct and indirect taxes advice, and to forge close working relationships with them.
• To identify and manage tax risks and opportunities including transfer pricing, making appropriate use of advisers in a wide variety of countries.
• Regular and detailed involvement in a wide variety of international and UK tax planning
• Involvement in M&A activity and restructuring work.
• To manage and control the satisfaction of corporate tax compliance requirements for group companies around the world, ensuring high levels of quality and timeliness. This could also include dealing with fiscal authorities at a high level.
• To manage and control aspects of the financial reporting of tax.
• Management of a small team of advisers and analysts.
• To help develop systems and processes which help the team fulfil its objective of being an excellent in-house service provider.
• Some UK and international travel is to be expected
Relocation considered for the right individual. Very competitive salary package (£60,000 to £80,000 + bens) as would look at a junior senior manager.
