Our work in the South East is varied and covers a wide range of industry sectors - from multi-national household names in technology, travel & leisure and retail to key public sector and charitable bodies. As a Senior Manager you will be given the opportunity to advise on our main indirect taxes including VAT, Customs Duties, Insurance Premium Tax and, increasingly, environmental taxes. Because we offer a rounded client service, you will be expected to analyse what is happening in the market and use this information to be proactive in looking for solutions. The role involves:
* Leading business development initiatives on target accounts and contributing to winning new work;
* Leading existing client engagements, reporting directly to a partner;
* Developing teams with hands on advice and support;
* Developing new market opportunities locally and nationally;
* Contributing to the enhancement of relationships with targets and clients;
* Identifying cross service line opportunities;
* Contributing to existing team spirit;
* A clear path to director promotion.
To be considered, you must possess:
* CTA or equivalent qualification or experience
* An in depth knowledge and technical understanding of the Indirect Tax market
* Strong client facing, relationship building and business development skills, coupled with commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a team.
