Working for this Global FMCG Company based in Dublin you will report into the Head of Tax and be responsible for a team of 5 Tax Professionals. They operate in approximately 180 markets and employ over 20,000 people around the world. They have offices in 80 countries including, the UK, US, Spain, Italy, Africa and Australia.
You will work in their large Group Tax Function and work closely with other team members in the specialist area of Transfer Pricing and Global Tax Planning, who are based across three different locations.
As the most senior person in the Country you will be responsible for tax planning, tax support to the Irish business as well as tax risk management and reporting. You will work with the Leadership team to create a high performing Tax Team and ensure interaction with other Group Tax Teams across the world. You will work closely with the Global Planning Team which has specific accountability to identify and implement proactive value creating tax planning opportunities. The ability to influence and support key senior stakeholders across the business is crucial to the role. Stakeholders include the Finance, Operations and Commercial Directors. Finally you will be the point of contact for all negotiations with the Revenue authorities.
You will be an experienced Tax professional having trained within one of the Big 4 firms and ideally have exposure of European and US jurisdictions. You could currently be working within Industry or be looking for that first move out of one of the Big 4 firms.
