A top tier investment bank is looking for a highly intelligent individual with a strong tax background who is seeking a move in to a front office role. Providing tax in put in to a variety of banking products and working as part of a team, you will gain exposure to product development, deal origination and execution aspects and provide tax input relating to ongoing client management issues.
Ideal candidates will be ACA/CTA qualified, up to and including manager grade with proven corporate tax experience gained in a big 4 environment. The current team consists of individuals from blue and red brick universities with strong academics subsequently backed up by first class professional records.
A background in a transaction tax team or financial services tax team is preferred. However if you met the academic requirements it is still advisable to make an approach as significant importance is placed on intellectual horsepower and the ability to work and interface in a highly charged technical and commercially focused team. Career and earnings prospect are excellent and there is a proven track record of individuals progressing this route to senior management in the bank.
