This large international accountancy firm is looking for a VAT director to help lead a team and run the indirect tax ofering across Yorkshire. An excellent opportunity for someone looking for a step up to director. In this role you will work across a range of industry sectors advising blue chip companies, OMBS and international groups. Your role will include:
-Developing and implementing opportunities to reduce indirect tax leakage within supply chains thus improving working capital.
-Managing a team of staff.
-Business development and marketing.
-Helping businesses to understand the inherent risks within their Indirect Tax function and developing strategies to minimise risk by improving indirect tax controls.
-Close liaison and negotiation with HMRC.
-Cross selling the firm's services.
- Raising the profile of indirect tax within your local office.
-Helping businesses to develop strategies to manage their Indirect Tax function
-Developing and implementing VAT planning arrangements.
-Training of internal staff and clients.
