This Global Accountancy firm has a large presence on the island and with one of the largest indirect tax teams internationally, is seeking an experienced VAT specialist to grow their VAT practice in the local market.
With an ever increasing focus on offshore jurisdictions from HM Revenue and Customs in the UK and other tax authorities within Europe, the need for structures to be both technically sound at planning stage and then properly implemented at the operating stage is paramount.
The Candidate:
The entry level to this role will depend on the candidate's background and level of expertise. As a VAT specialist you will have a minimum of 2+ to 10 years VAT experience within practice, inhouse or a legal background. You must be comfortable in a client facing role. You will be the face of the VAT Practice and supervise and mentor existing staff.
