VAT Manager is required to join a predominantly public sector (NHS Trust clients) focused team in London. You will have the benefit of a smaller, friendly team whilst retaining the quality of work from this firm's exceptional client base.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Managing the successful delivery of Indirect Tax projects, ensuring a high quality of technical compliance within a commercial approach;
* Contribute ad-hoc advisory skills on assignments as appropriate, including the potential to gain business advisory experience;
* Deliver excellent compliance and some advisory services to a portfolio of quality local and national clients;
* Contribute to winning new work by suggesting new initiatives, managing existing clients with integrity and referring new clients;
* Managing and mitigating risk appropriately for your assignments.
You will already been practicing as a VAT manager, ideally with experience of dealing with clients from public sector or in Health VAT. Preferably you will be ACA/ACCA/CA/CTA qualified or previous experience as tax inspector. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively and knowledgeably with clients, and build tax relationships effectively. Attention to detail and sound project management skills are key. You should be prepared to study for a CTA exam to further your skill development.
