This VAT / Indirect Tax Senior / Assistant Manager position sits within the newly restructured Indirect Tax practice of a Top 10 Accounting Firm, the role is a permanent full time position based in Milton Keynes.
The key areas of responsibility relating to this position will be contributing to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to the client by building and maintaining tax relationships with clients. You will have a strong ability to identify opportunities and manage client’s expectations.
You will have proven experience in delivering successful tax projects, ensuring technical excellence with a practical and business driven approach.
You will have the capacity to integrate within new teams effectively, be approachable and have the capability to produce a quality output for the day to day delivery of client liaison.
Candidates applying for this position must have proven experience within VAT / indirect tax, gained within a professional environment. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to identify areas of risk, carry out effective review and know when to escalate queries accordingly.
You will be professionally qualified ideally with an ATT / CTA / ACA / ACCA qualification or equivalent.
You will have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, as some of your work undertaken will be based out of the office.
